NixMoney Auth works as a software token, generating timed one-time passwords (TOTP).
Increase security of your social network, banking and email accounts by using two factor authentication - and no one, except you, will be able to log on.
NixMoney Auth provides high security and flexibility levels:
- wide range of supported TOTP parameters;
- application has PIN code protection, which prevents other people from accessing your passwords;
- secret keys that used to generate passwords are securely encrypted and stored deep in device memory.
Application uses PIN code protection. Code length - 4 digits.
Application becomes auto-locked in next situations:
1. Application is fold;
2. Application lost focus;
3. Device is locked.
So you will never forget to lock it "in a right way" - the right way is handled by applications own.
Supported TOTP parameters:
1. Multiple TOTP encryption algorithms:
- SHA1 - which is commonly preferred by lot of services;
- SHA256 - for a more sensitive services;
- SHA512 - the strongest one, but rarely used.
2. Wide range of TOTP lengths – from 4 to 9 (including default 6)
3. Wide range of supported periods (TOTP life time periods):
- from 5 seconds
- to 300 seconds
...including default 30 seconds, of course.
You can automatically add new tokens by QR scan, or use manual setup.
